On the issues
What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The return of respect to the D.C. Council. But urgently, to bring full employment for all residents of the District of Columbia; and this goal can be done immediately with the plan of action I have prepared. To resolve the sudden crime wave that has hurt and scared residents. I will request the police chief to reassign the 300-plus police officers that are behind the desk to street patrol until safety and calm are back on the streets. Importantly, additional funding for public schools with a percentage share from lottery sale revenues. Currently, the city does not share.
Why should voters elect you?
I am highly qualified as an auditor; and remember: It took an accountant, former mayor Anthony Williams, to successfully take the District out of bankruptcy.
