On the issues
What is the most urgent problem facing your jurisdiction?
The most urgent problem in D.C. is the absence of high-performing public schools. Education reform to date is a good start, but efforts must proceed at a faster pace. Children suffer every moment we delay reform due to conflicts among adults. We must move quickly to have productive conversations among parents, teachers, principals, community leaders and education experts. Our students deserve our support whether they are attending DCPS traditional schools or public charter schools. Every D.C. student should be able to attend high-quality schools from preschool right through high school so they are put in the best position to succeed.
Why should voters elect you?
Time for change on the D.C. Council is now. We need qualified and honest council members. Vote David Grosso for a better D.C.
