Women in Engineering and Computer Science
This table shows the number of bachelor's degrees in engineering and in computer science awarded in 2014-15 at colleges and universities, as well as the share of those degrees earned by women. The data was obtained from the federal Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System. The federal classification system does not count computer science degrees as a subset of engineering degrees, even though there is overlap between the fields at many colleges and universities. This table may be updated to reflect additional data schools provide about their computer science degrees. Women break barriers in engineering and computer science at some top colleges
