Police report from Florida car accident involving Secret Service agents
Two U.S. Secret Service officers on a presidential trip were involved in a traffic accident March 7 in the Florida Keys when their vehicle collided with a truck at 1:24 a.m. Mathew Reyes, a member of the Service’s counter-sniper unit who was driving, was given a field sobriety test, but the state trooper found no detection of impairment. Reyes was released with a citation for “failure to yield” to oncoming traffic.
