Social Security Administration printing plan
This report on the agency's printing activities has been compiled by the Social Security Administration for more than 25 years, in response to a request from then-Sen. Charles “Mac” Mathias (R-Md.). The report takes 95 employees and 87 workdays to compile. But the agency has said it is not sure why Congress needs it. Mathias retired in 1987 and died in 2010. In 25 years, nobody else from Congress has ever provided feedback about what the report contains.
