ARINC, part of the Carlyle Group’s portfolio, specializes in communications, engineering and integration services for the government and commercial businesses. The company particularly focuses on providing information-technology support for airports, including systems that manage air traffic, baggage, passenger processing and airport operations. This year, ARINC’s managed services unit, which provides around-the-clock support for airline check-in systems, moved to a new Annapolis headquarters.
