Deltek provides a range of services geared toward helping companies, particularly government contractors and professional services firms, win work and manage their projects. The company has been growing rapidly since it was majority-purchased by New Mountain Capital in 2005. In 2011, the company picked up a government contracting market analysis firm, Tysons Corner-based FedSources, the primary competitor to Reston-based Input, which Deltek bought in 2010.
