In October, the Northern Virginia health-care provider announced that it had entered into a contract to purchase eight acres of land in Ashburn at the Dulles Greenway and Loudoun County Parkway. There, Inova plans Ashburn HealthPlex, a $31 million, 50,000-square-foot project featuring a 24-hour full-service emergency department, a diagnostic imaging center and physician offices. Inova is a not-for-profit company and serves more than 1 million people in Northern Virginia annually.
