After scaling back its growth plans during the economic downturn, Learning Tree International in 2011 took steps to expand its business to pre-recession levels. The firm, which provides information-technology and management training courses online and in person, said it planned to accelerate the introduction of new courses, to 37 in fiscal 2011, up from 23 the previous year. The company said that in fiscal 2012, it would seek to offer 50 new titles, the same number it did before the recession.

The training company has a library of more than 245 standard and 700 custom IT, business skills, and management courses.
