The company is seeking to reenter the commercial market, having moved out of the sector when it went public in 2002. In particular, the company wants to provide cybersecurity services to financial institutions. ManTech acquired several companies in 2011, including cybersecurity firms Worldwide Information Network Systems, based in Seabrook, and TranTech, based in Alexandria.
