M.C. Dean is an electrical engineering and technology services firm that specializes in designing, building and operating telecommunications, command-and-control and security systems, among other things. The company works for the government as well as commercial firms, universities and other organizations. In 2011, M.C. Dean started renovating Moultrie Courthouse, the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and received a contract to design and build a new hangar complex in St. Mary’s County.


The company helped establish one of D.C.'s earliest technical apprenticeship programs in the city, at the Phelps School, more than 20 years ago.
