Orbital Sciences
Orbital, which develops small- and medium-class satellites and supports space exploration, said its government business has been gaining momentum as some agencies move away from large, complex and costly procurements. The company is the industrial partner to three of five finalists for NASA’s mission to deliver cargo to the International Space Station. The firm announced in September that it had won a $135 million NASA contract to design and build the Ice, Cloud and land Elevation Satellite-2.
