1. Covington & Burling

Covington & Burling is the District’s largest law firm and has deep roots in the nation’s capital. One of the firm’s early partners was Dean Acheson, who would later become secretary of state. In 2012, Covington became the first Washington-based law firm to open an office in Seoul, and made a concerted effort to bulk up its government contracts and public policy groups in Washington.

Covington's just-opened Seoul office is located in Gangnam, of "Gangnam Style" fame.
