Hospitals

2. MedStar Health

MedStar made a major step in July when it announced that it would add Southern Maryland Hospital Center, located in Clinton, to its network. Southern is MedStar’s 10th hospital, its seventh in Maryland, and serves Prince George’s County and the southern Maryland peninsula. MedStar plans major upgrades to the facility, which is more than 35 years old.
