Dog and Cat Fur Protection report
Congress passed a law in 2000 requiring Customs and Border Protection to produce this report on efforts to enforce the prohibition of importing and exporting products containing dog and cat fur, a task that takes at least 15 people and three months to complete. Fourteen years later, nobody in Congress seems interested. Seven committees get the report, but no one can remember actually using it for any reason.
