Opinions in Russia
Russian attitudes toward the United States are the worst since the Moscow-based Levada Center began tracking them in 1988. Anger spiked in 2003, when the United States invaded Iraq, and again in 2008 during the Russia-Georgia conflict. The Levada Center is one of Russia’s few independent sources for data about public opinion. Read related article.
